Group Therapy

Group/Individual Supervision

Carol-Anne plays a pivotal role in the field of counseling by providing essential and mandatory supervision to members of the Australian Counselling Association. Her supervision services cater to a diverse range of individuals, encompassing both emerging therapists embarking on the journey of setting up their private practices and seasoned therapists looking to refine their craft.  Her commitment to supporting and mentoring her peers is evident in the dedication she pours into their professional development and overall effectiveness as counselors.

As a staunch advocate of self-care, Carol-Anne places great emphasis on the well-being and growth of her colleagues. She firmly believes in the value of resource-sharing within the counseling community, promoting the idea that colleagues should exchange resources, insights, and unique business skills to foster collaboration and camaraderie. This collaborative spirit serves as a vital component in mitigating the isolation often associated with operating as a sole trader in the counseling profession.

Carol-Anne's passion for working alongside her peers' shines through in her work. She takes immense pleasure in facilitating both regular online supervision groups and more in-depth one-on-one sessions, providing a platform for therapists and herself to learn, grow, and thrive in their professional journeys. Her unwavering dedication to the counseling community is a testament to her belief in the power of collective growth and the profound impact it can have on the mental health landscape."

Stress Management Training, Students

As students move into Year 11 or Year 12, you may notice signs of stress. It's important to provide them with skills and strategies to help them cope. I certainly wished I had these skills when I was 16!

The Red Chair Therapy is offering stress management training targeted specifically for Year 11 and Year 12 students.  With small groups of eight students, this will allow for more personalised, relevant and interactive discussion where we will explore the following:

· What is & isn't stress: Fear, Anxiety, Good & Bad stress

· Recognise: How do our mind, body & behaviours react

· Resilience, bend don't break!

Self-belief; confidence, sleep

· Taking back control: Our thoughts are not our reality

· Build your toolkit: Long lasting strategies to make life's stressors more manageable

Sessions will include light refreshments and time at the end for any questions.
